architectural design

This 2400 s.f. house was designed as a contemporary look at a barn and farm house. The house overlooks a bike path rather than a main street and was oriented to look out onto a small field tucked in the forest. Originally design for close in views of a dense wood, a bark beetle infestation created a great vista for the house to set in as if it were a frontier cabin.
