The forest residence breaks down the barriers between outside and inside making the yard feel like a room in the house. The stonewall that runs through the house acts as a proscenium to both interior and exterior spaces. The entry hall is wide at the front door but tapers to the back of the house as spaces become more private. The kitchen opens out the back yard through a 19 foot door way that is flush with the deck, so that you can roll your kitchen table outside.
