This building was built to take advantage of the high density zoning and the views of the city to the north and the mountains to the south west. Solid was originally tasked with designing and large Duplex for the site but drew a triplex that would spread the cost of the land over more units allowing them to be sold for a lower price point. Because of the tall vertical nature elevators were provided to accommodate senior residents. The slope of the stair columns to the south were drawn to support solar arrays to reduce the operating expense of the building.
